How does Valk Loyal work?

Interested in Valk Loyal and curious about how it works? Below you will find more information about it.

Book with your Valk Account

  1. Make a reservation via one of our websites.

  2. Log in during the reservation process with your Valk Account and complete your booking.

  3. Your reservation is immediately sent to the hotel and you will receive a confirmation by email.

  4. One day before your stay, you will receive an information email with all relevant details about your arrival and stay.

How can I link a booked reservation to my loyalty account?

You can link a booked reservation via My Valk Account. Log in to your account and go to “My reservations”. At the top of the page, you will find the “Link reservation” button. Click on it and add your reservation by selecting the correct hotel and entering the corresponding reservation number.

Note:

  • the reservation must be for a future date;

  • the reservation must be made via a Van der Valk website (not through a third party);

  • the email address of your account must match the email address with which the reservation was made.

After your stay, you receive your balance

  1. After your stay, you receive an email with your balance mentioned (this balance is valid for 3 years).

  2. When you log in to your Valk account on one of our websites, you will see your total credits.

Use your credits for a new booking. How do you do this?

You can use your Valk Loyal credits for a next stay in one of our hotels. You do this during the reservation process, in the summary step just before you complete the booking. Make sure you are logged in to your Valk Account to apply the credits.

The credits are only valid for hotel accommodations and cannot be exchanged for gift cards or cash. More information can be found here.
